Our registered nurses and licensed practical nurses provide 24-hour skilled care, while our restorative staff provides the motivation and assistance necessary to maintain mobility, strength and endurance. Our social workers provide caring, emotional support and can assist with the decisions that must be made when making the transition from home to University Place Care Center. We also offer numerous leisure and social activities, and our meals, snacks, housekeeping and laundry services are included in the standard room rate and are not billed as "extras."
At UPCC, we provide the skilled nursing care our residents require, but we also respect their right to make choices in their daily living. That means whether they will have breakfast in our dining room or a continental
breakfast in their room, or whether they will have their bath/shower in the morning or evening. It means they are encouraged to make their rooms truly their own with cherished memories from home. It means they can preserve an element of independence and control in their lives.
